I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and are now in full Christmas mode.
I love this time of year for so many reasons…family and friends and cozy nights by the fire. And also I really and truly do love buying gifts for people. It used to stress me out beyond belief. I would make a list one week before Christmas and drive all over town trying to just get it DONE. But now if I start early enough, it can be so much FUN. After years of giving Starbucks gift cards and paisley ties and a million other gifts that scream: “I thought of you for five whole minutes on Christmas Eve,” I have a new appreciation for the gifts that are well thought out and super meaningful.
Really, I think my mom taught me this. She listens well and genuinely cares; and in doing so, she remembers things that others don’t. She always gives the perfect gift that doesn’t just hold value; but holds enormous sentiment as well. I wish I had days and days to shop without being distracted by toddlers; but lately that’s just not reality. SO….I’ve come to adore Tiny Prints for not only our Christmas cards; but gifts for Grandparents and teachers as well.
So I hope to kick off the gift giving season for you with some quick, easy and very personal gifts that I think your people will love:
Ok this one is my favorite! It’s elegant and classic and perfect for that super thoughtful person in your life who will never let letter writing go out of style.
This is a favorite of mine! I’m gifting it to my father-in-law (here’s hoping he doesn’t read the blog) 😉 It’ll be perfect for his office and at 5×5, he’ll still have plenty of room for other grandbaby pictures.
We started giving my mother-in-law personalized mugs each year when Elle was born. She’s building quite the collection. Somehow I feel sure coffee tastes just a tad bit sweeter with memories on your mug.
These lovelies are getting wrapped with some pretty pens to be gifted to Elle’s teachers.
(I might also include a big bottle of wine. Because…3 year olds!)
Another recent tradition of ours is designing an ornament for each of the little ones every year. That way they’ll have plenty of memories hanging on their own tree one year.
Another great desk accessory with a year full of memories! It takes no time at all to design; yet seems so much more thought out than just a picture in a frame.
Who doesn’t love to see their name in print? And y’all Tiny Prints is absolutely killing it with their stationary designs this year. The selection is UNREAL!
I’m gifting these to Elle. I want her to learn early the art of being gracious and taking the time
to hand-write “thank-you’s.”
Since she’s only 3, she’s dictating to me this year; but I hope this becomes a tradition that she hangs on to her whole life.
I’m sure you’ll agree, every little lady (no matter how little) needs her own personalized stationary set.
From our family to yours, I hope this Christmas Season is joyous and full and so very special!
Cheers to a beautiful life worth living and gorgeous gifts worth giving,
