I have decorating goals for 2016.
Anyone else with me? Or am I the only crazy who actually sits down and writes out their “house goals” for the year?
I’m thinking it’s over the top…just a tad 😉
BUT since they’re already written down, I thought I’d share some of them with you.
One of my many, many 2016 goals for our sweet little house is to add some character and personality to the kid’s Jack & Jill bathroom.
I’m crazy about how it turned out after the renovation:
However, it still needs just a touch of whimsy and some charm.
Particularly on the wall opposite the sinks.
It’s a blank canvas just begging to become a gallery wall.
In preparation for this imaginary gallery wall, I snapped some bath-time pictures of Beckham this weekend:
I think it will be just perfect blown up and framed next to my favorite picture of little Elle when she was 10 months:
Black & white “tub time” pictures of giggly, soapy babies are ALWAYS a good idea!
Besides these two little loves in the tub, my favorite part about this space is the transom windows!
They were a last minute addition (my poor, poor framing crew….I know I drove them absolutely crazy!)
But I think well worth the extra work.
The afternoon light in here is just magical.
Hope to be back soon to share how we’ve added our own unique personality to this space.
In the meantime, here are some of my sources for you:
